Somebody tells me he’s going to beat me up tomorrow, and that threat hits different when it’s been building day after day. I start by talking through what school conflict and bullying feels like from the inside, and why I’m trying to move smarter by talking with my teachers and leaning on faith instead of just reacting. If you’ve ever felt cornered at school, this is the kind of real, unfiltered talk that makes you pause and ask what you’d do next.
Then I jump into one of the most famous Bible stories, David and Goliath, and I tell it like I’m putting you on the battlefield with no armor and no sword. The point isn’t that David is fearless. The point is what he focuses on: not how big the giant is, but how big God is. We all have giants like fear, bullying, insecurity, and feeling unprepared, and I break down how faith and courage can look like stepping up even when you feel small.
After that, I switch it up and get personal about family, cousins, and the kind of arguments that happen in real homes. I also share a school story about getting jumped and the frustration of watching adults handle it the wrong way, which raises a big question about school safety and teacher responsibility. To close, I touch sports and talk about Jordan Travis’s injury and how not every football injury has a comeback story. If any of this connects with you, listen through, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
Bullying At School And Advice
SPEAKER_01Alright, I was like, this is gonna be my third episode, cutting keys of the camera. So, like we're gonna talk about stuff, you know what I'm saying? My last time. So first I'm gonna get a school shirt. So today, this boy just kept bothering me, said he's gonna beat me up tomorrow, but he's the one just constantly bothering me. So it's not my fault. He's gonna he's gonna beat me up, but he's the one just constantly bothering me. Well it's mostly every day. So you get what I'm saying? So I wanna move more to God. Well no, actually it's talking more with my teachers. Well my teachers, I mean, they good teachers. Like, I know Mr. Paula, one of my favorite teachers, math teachers. Yeah, he one of my favorite. Like, you got Miss Wynn, she's one, and then uh Mr. I meant and then Miss Russ,
David And Goliath Storytime
SPEAKER_01yeah. So let's move into a Bible story about David. Okay. Let's go in. Let me uh make a Bible story. Let me just not not make one, let me just read one to you guys. Alright. So like first Okay, let's go. Today we're talking about one of the most famous stories ever, David and Goliath. Now I want you to imagine something before we start. Picture yourself standing on the battlefield. You don't have armor, you don't have a sword. Actually, you might not even have shoes on your feet. And across from you is a giant, like a real giant, super tall, super strong, and everybody else is too scared to fight him. Yeah, that's exactly what David Walt did to. David wasn't a real soldier, like he actually wasn't, he was just he was just a shepherd boy. His job was just taking care of sheets, not fighting warriors. Well, he heard Goliath talking trash just people dismantling God. Something inside him said it isn't right. Now think about it. If you were there, who would you step up? I mean, would you step up? But like most people didn't even train. Most people didn't. Even trained soldiers were afraid. They said I'll go. Not because he thought he was a strong because God he trusted God. Instead of heavy armor, they picked up a smooth stone and a swing. That's a no helmet, no sword, no protection, just faith and courage. So let's pause again. Put yourself into this position. No shoes, heart beating fast. Everyone watching a giant walking towards you. What would you be thinking? David wasn't focused on how big Goliath was. He was focused on how big God is. And how the moment came. David slung one stone, just one, and hit Goliath War. He needed to. The giant fail. Game over. Here's a lesson I think is
The Lesson About Life Giants
SPEAKER_01really important for us. We all have giants in our lives. Maybe it's fear, maybe it's bullying. Maybe it feels like you're not good enough. And just like David, you might not feel small. You might feel small, unre unprepared, unprepared. Like you don't have like you don't know woo. Like you don't have what everyone else does. But David shows us something powerful. You don't need to look strong. You will just need faith, courage, and will need to step up. So next time we're facing something scary, ask yourself, what would I do if I were David? And maybe, just maybe, you realize you're stronger than you think. Yeah, alright.
Family Stories And Cousins
SPEAKER_01Let's move into other stuff. Like, let's talk about my family. So like, yeah. So let me tell y'all like a story myself, like what happened. Like between me and my dad. My mom was talking in the background, saying shelter. I said, but then roast my dad saying she got more money than you. Like, yeah, yeah, dads are active. Like, dads are active. Like most kids are not seen without a dad, but like I have a I have a cousin named Nala. Sometimes we argue, sometimes we cool. Yeah, that's how it is. Well, mostly cousins argue. Like, you get more sad? Because you got a cousin, like, I'm sure y'all be arguing. Real talk. Like, I'm sure y'all be arguing. The reason I say y'all be arguing is cause like Ain't in a way, y'all just like get it. Ain't no way y'all cool for her this whole time. Y'all have to be arguing. I'm gonna talk about my mom. My mom is a good person. She really got as well like me. Yeah. But uh, I got something else to say. I wanna um like talk about more, dive deep into my family. My cousin Helen, one of the one of the people I've been with in my life for years. Years. It been years she's been in my life. Like since I was born. But Kia was like Kia, my sister, she was a she was one of my friends' people, like you know. I used to always be with her when I was a baby. I remember a pic I remember a picture I would show when I was a baby. Well, I mean, since I was younger, so I didn't really like know what was like going on since I was younger. I don't really know what's going on. So like let's dive deep into stuff. We wanna dive deep into like you know what I'm saying?
Getting Jumped And Teacher Frustration
SPEAKER_01It's random stuff, you know, like about school experiences, like I'm gonna say why the boys brought my sponsor. Like, nah, I already told in my old story, like it's just law school experiences. One of the boys was all seeing what this uh never, I ain't gonna get dive deep into that. Like, it's a new student, right? A bald student. Okay, let me see. Like he came to the school. Like it was his birthday one day. Like, he was just being terrible on his birthday. Yeah. Yeah, we had we was having problems, like he had they had the boys jumping me and stuff. Like, yeah, like How's and they was playing now? They was playing because they had smiles on their face. Like, how can I think they was playing? He had a boy showing me, then he said he started, and I just forgave him. Cause he was a new student. But still, then went to the coach and uh uh first year teacher still sent me. He saw them, he he saw them just hitting on me and stuff, but he ain't do nothing. He just go he sent me to the coach where we could do exercises and stuff because you let them hit you. What ain't we ain't we supposed to have a teacher? Me and what you want me to do? Hit him back because like you was right there. That's the only reason why I hit him back because you was right there. You saw he gonna send me over there. What the hell? We gotta sent back. But guess what? He's one of the buddies just sweating because saying, I ain't effing to a jumping jacks. I was like, ooh. And then the coach said, the coach said, come, I'ma write your eight up. And then he came back to the car and saying, the coach ain't right me up. That was just so crazy. Like
Size, Fear, And Trusting God
SPEAKER_01we wanna talk about how I feel about if it was me and that story where they been go like if it was me, yeah. I know if I'm small and he's like six inches bigger than me, I'd be scared too. But I know. One thing. Nah, it don't matter about uh height. Like so you can be somewhere like six foot and you five eight or something. You still beating it. Are you being sure people beating big people? Like it happened. Like y'all be thinking it's people so big and tough as they think they are, and they can just beat you up. No, not true. Cause like to me it's not really true, cause like not everybody can win a fight though. Yeah. Like big small people can lose big people, big people can lose small people. It's just how it is. Like, you get what I'm saying? But how I feel about like like the brothers are talking trash too. Like, that's gonna talk trash, say you're just a little boy. Like, nah. I might be just a young boy, but I still got guards on my side. That's all I can say. Nah. That's all I can say. Guards on my side. Alright, I
Sports Talk On Jordan Travis
SPEAKER_01wanna move it to sports. This is a sports all I have. Uh it was an older one, like it was 2023. Football player Jordan Travis, he sprained his ankle. Now he ain't sprained it, he actually broke it. I don't know why I can say he sprained it. Like, he like broke it, it was twisted. Like, the Jets wanted to uh put him on a team because he they saw he was a good quarterback in his college Jason FSU. He did he was uh playing with Louisville and then he moved to uh FSU Then they like on the video they thought they had something like no like Jordan Travis, he was injured like not every like period not every inner injury you could come back from it. You know what I'm saying? Can't come back from every in like getting injury, can't come back from all that like some football players have to sometimes retire. That's what happened with John Travis. He retired and we moved him to the hall of fame.
